Trainings
While working as the Director of three Community Mental Health Centers, Kristin developed and implemented a crisis services program. It was through the development of this program, and serving as a member of the crisis response team that she developed a love and passion for the art of clinical risk assessments. Kristin has done extensive research in the area of suicide prevention. She is an experienced trainer in this area and enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise on best practices for completing suicide risk assessments.
Kristin’s second love is the world of ethics. She has over 10 years of experience providing ethical consultation and has created and delivered multiple trainings on this topic. She is a current member of the Iowa National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Iowa Chapter, Ethics Review Committee.
